Supervisor Training - Signs and Symptoms of Substance Abuse©
This
course provides the supervisor with a systematic and comprehensive review of
drug and alcohol warning signs in the workplace and the effects of substance
abuse on your employees’ health and family. Also included is a discussion of
Drug Detection Periods, Types of Testing, Adulterants, Prescription and OTC
Drugs, Alcohol Dependency,
Policy Components, the Supervisor’s Role, Communication Traps, and Reasonable
Suspicion Incident Documentation. An overview of General DOT Regulations is
also included. The course is approximately 2 hours in length.
Hours of Service Training©
This
course provides the individual with an understanding of the Hours of Service
regulations for truck drivers. Teaches the driver the proper way to prepare
driver logs and document the day’s activities. Areas covered include, Total
Driving Time, On Duty Time, Required Off Duty time, Sleeper Beth Time, 60 and 70
Hour rules, Restart of 60/70 Hour Periods. The course is approximately 3 hours
in length.

This
course provides the individual with the proper method to secure various type of
cargo. Areas covered include, chains, straps, grades of binding material,
dunage, blocking, binders, number a devices required on cargo, by weight,
length, proper placement of cargo on the truck or trailer, out of service
criteria for binding devices, fines that can be levied against the driver. The
course is approximately 3 Hours in length.
Power Industrial Lift Trucks
The successful completion of this course will enable you to safety
operate a powered industrial lift truck in accordance with OSHA issued
regulation 29 CFR 1910.178.
Course topics include: steering, stability, refueling, surface conditions,
pedestrian traffic, forklift procedures and operations, common factors
contributing to accidents, and vehicle inspection. The
course is approximately 4 hours in length; including a written test and
practical skill assessment.
